What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone that can help achieve our business goals, which includes growing and better retaining our audience of 30M+ unique visitors per month, increasing revenue, and improving our overall user experience.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for setting goals, executing, analyzing performance, and iterating. You'll work with other teams and team leaders (executive, tech, data, design, editorial, etc.) throughout the entire process. You'll be wireframing a lot, and designing a little.
What you'll be using:
You should be very familiar with the Adobe suite of products, or Invision, Sketch or another wireframing tool of your choice. You should also be very familiar with Google analytics, Optimizely. Internally we utilize Slack and Asana to communicate and manage projects.
You've got a proven background in product management and design (a minimum of 1 year of experience in a product management role). Ideally, you have worked for at least one start-up and you are passionate about media and politics.
With a top-notch in-house tech team and a newly-launched web site, your visions can become reality sooner than you can say "agile". We use Google 360 for analytics and A/B testing, and most of our data lives in one central location: BigQuery. The entire company is on Slack and Asana, so you'll have no problem communicating with both our on-location and remote staff.
